Mary teaches effective riding skills to people with intellectual disabilities. This allows them to ride safely and with independence on borrowed horses in National and International competition.
Some riders are only able to ride within the confines of a Therapeutic Centre. Others may be able to ride in an Riding School or even own their own horse.
Mary works with regular coaches to help them understand the needs of Special Olympic riders so they can be integrated into lessons and competitions. This help can be given in person or through electronic means.
